Nothing
Chapter 4 : The One Who Had The Blood, was Clueless.
How those people had their own
special food... Like, what kind of food was that supposed to mean?
How those people called their place
as Neverland and she never heard anything of the name before except the MJ’s
Neverland, of course.
How Neverland called a president as
a queen. Like, was Neverland like the United Kingdom? but it seemed nothing
like it.
How Justin was special among
others... Like what was that supposed to mean?
How those people wanted her blood to
kill somebody...
How those people always talked
mysteriously...
She was asking those in her head but
the answers were left behind, unanswered...
Alex walked to the door of the room
hoping that it wasn’t locked so she could go outside and enjoy the fresh air
but to her lack it was locked. Those people were anything like Justin
apparently, she thought. She then walked to a window and saw anything that she
could find outside. Apparently she was now in 2nd or 3rd
floor and it just made it kind of impossible for her on trying to escape. And
apparently from looking through the window, she found nothing outside. It was 3
in the afternoon. Nothing was seen outside. No one. No activity. This only made
her confusion go bigger. She then sat on the huge couch and started to cry. She
missed home. She missed her parents. Her brother. Her boyfriend. Her friends.
Her city. She just wanted to get out of there already. She was sick of the land
and the people. But poor little Alexis, it seemed like she was stuck in it and
couldn’t do anything about it.
Time flew and it was already 7 pm.
Alex was still crying, hugging herself on the huge couch, and hiding her head
between her feet. The sound of the door opening was heard. Apparently somebody
was entering the room. But Alex made no move.
“Alexis, Queen Mertha wanna have a
little talk with you. come with me. C’mon” a tall good looking boy said.
Alex still didn’t move an inch. It
was like she didn’t hear him. Seeing that, the boy walked to her and grabbed
her hand and wasted no time to take her to the queen. She kept on crying but
she made no sound of it. Eventually the boy noticed and he stopped their steps.
“hey don’t cry” the boy said as
wiping her tears but they kept falling.
Knowing that he couldn’t do
anything, he then decided to meet Justin who was downstairs and asked him to
help Alex stop crying. The boy couldn’t take her to the queen like that and
since Justin was with her since the beginning then probably she would listen to
him, he thought. As soon as they were downstairs. The boy asked Alex to wait for
him beside the stairs while he was trying to talk to Justin who was standing
beside a window making out with a blonde girl, not far from where Alex was
standing and Alex of course noticed.
“Justin, she won’t stop crying and I
can’t take her to the queen like that. You should try to make her stop crying”
“really Forrest? really? So I’m
called to be here just to get her stop crying huh? Wow funny” Justin replied.
“you know it’s not like that. I’m
just asking you to help me, bro”
“she’s not my business anymore. She
never was, anyway. I don’t care if she cries or whatever. Besides, I don’t get
it. why do you need me to make a girl stop crying, bro?”
“because she’s with you since the
beginning so I thought she’ll listen to you.”
“okay okay” Justin said finally,
kissing the blonde girl and then walked to Alex
“hey you know what? You’re
disturbing my precious time with my blonde girl. Can you just stop crying now
huh?” Justin said as soon as he was right in front of her.
Hearing that, Alex lifted her head up
and looked at Justin with disgust and hurt. She then said
“I hate you!”
and then she turned around and said, “just take me to the queen” as wiping her tears.
The boy, called Forrest, wasted no
time and took her to the queen but he managed to say some words to Justin
before
“that was rude, bro. but thank you
anyway. You’re still the same Justin apparently. But hey I think she’s hot, you
know” Forrest said, smirking to Justin.
He heard that but he didn’t give a
crap and continued to make out with his blonde girl that basically he had just
met in the queen’s mansion. Yeah Justin was still the same and would always be
probably. He could be rude to anyone even if they were his favorite, hot girls.
After having a little talk with Queen
Mertha, she was led to the kitchen to have a dinner. She was left alone there
but Cristy would come to her in no time just like the queen told her. The
conversation between Alex and the queen went fast. Alex only replied her
without asking back. She was tired already and she wanted everything come back
to normal and the queen promised her that if she was willing to help the queen
for her land and for the world, for good. So she said yes to the queen. She
didn’t care anymore about the reason and especially the reason behind they
really needed her blood to kill somebody when in fact she was actually really
eager to know.
The queen would take a little of her
blood on the next day and then Alex would be driven home. She couldn’t wait for
tomorrow. Finally she would be home! She thought.
Meanwhile, her parents had already
told the police to look for her. Her mom couldn’t stop crying. Her dad didn’t
sleep a wink. He spent day and night looking for his dear daughter. The same
happened to Joey. He regretted he had ever let her go alone by herself. He was
disappointed in himself. He was mad at himself. He had no idea what he would do
if Alex couldn’t be found or if something bad happened to her. He would never
forgive himself for sure.
Finally, She was done with the
dinner and Cristy hadn’t showed up yet. Alex decided to go walking because this
kitchen had no doors so hopefully she could explore the house. But then when
she was upstairs she was stopped by voices she heard from a room she was
passing by. She could catch one of the voice was Justin’s. Curiousity was
eating her alive, so she decided to listen to the conversation Justin was
having.
“I took her here only because I want
some of her blood too, you know that. You take some and I’ll take the rest or
it can go otherwise. Whatever. I don’t give a shit about that Alexis girl! She
can die and we get the precious blood and you, Mertha, do your job, save the
land” said a voice that Alex quick to guess it was Justin’s. Alex was also
quick to know that he was talking about her blood. She kind of felt broken
hearing that. From the sound of it, he didn’t care about her at all.
“Justin please help us all!! The
time’s tickling. She’s already got tons of army meaning she can do the shit in
no time and we have to stop her forever before that happens. I told you
already! I’ve seen it clear before my eyes that you’re the one who’s able to
kill Maria with Alexis’ blood. We’re lucky we have her here all by herself
along with the fact Maria doesn’t know. I guess it’s about time, though. She’s
willing to give a little of her blood and now we need you to do the rest but
why are you making this harder than it should be? You’re the one who’s able to
fight against her. Why can’t you see it? you’re special! If I can tell, you’re
the greatest in this land actually. C’mon Justin!” said a voice that Alex was
guessing as Liz’. She said it with full of emotions that made Alex thought that
the conversation had been going for long and Justin was being the stubborn one.
“don’t take it too hard, Liz. He’s
gonna help us in the end. I have a feeling about it” said a voice that Alex was
guessing as The Queen’s and she could picture the queen smiling while she was
speaking. Queen Mertha was never absent putting a smile on her face.
The queen had to stop Liz or else
she would spill out the things as to why Justin was so stubborn and didn’t want
to help them and it wouldn’t be good if everybody knew about the queen’s very
personal stuff. Yeah of course Liz knew even though the queen never told her
anything because she was Liz, the knowing girl aka the Ms. Know It All.
“your feeling is wrong, Mertha. Liz,
even though you’ve got the ability to see some things, remember only some
things, you’re not that perfect of that ability meaning you could be wrong and
this time you’re wrong. I’m not working for you Mertha or for anyone. How many
times have I said this huh? This is your responsibility as the queen of this
land. you can shut her down yourself” Justin said, emotionless as he was
leaning to a wall.
“but the fact is I can’t, JB” the
queen said.
Alex was kind of flustered at how
Justin dare to call the queen by her name and how the queen always called him
JB instead of just Justin just like everyone else. She couldn’t hear a thing
after the queen said her sentence. She then tried to have a look to the room by
looking from a small hole for a key on the door. Apparently there were 5 people
there. The queen, Justin, Liz, Forrest, and the other one boy she didn’t know.
She could see from everyone’s faces, but Liz and The Queen, they looked kind of
surprised. And then she remembered the queen’s last sentence.
Why couldn’t the queen kill the girl
they were talking about? She was a queen she was supposed to have much power
than the others right? Alex was asking in her head.
“I can’t kill her. As you all know,
she’s my sister. But that’s not the reason. No one knows but me, my sister, our
previous queen, and Liz about this one, I have the same power as her. There’s a
reason to why she had been creating a massive of newborns. It’s not to fight
against me. As you all know they’re created to shut down this earth completely
but that’s not it. You, Justin. It’s because of you. She’s afraid that u’re
gonna go against her. Don’t you notice that after she always failed to get you
in her side, she went mad about creating newborns?” the queen said again, full
of seriousness in her tone of voice but still
leaving a smile on her face.
“Justin, I’ve seen that she’s not
only mad cuz you don’t wanna be in her side as her army but also because she
feels something towards you and you never let her in, even for once, and that
makes her go worse. And hey how many times have I said this? you’re special!
you’re the one who’s able to save us and the humans. And now you heard it
yourself from Queen Mertha’s mouth and you still think that I’m wrong?” Liz
said.
Justin didn’t give any sign that he
would respond them. He kept staring at a window. Meanwhile, Alex kept watching
them with so much in her head. All those new information Alex got from
listening to them did really confuse her even more if that was even possible
and had made her curiousity go nowhere but bigger. She really was eager to know
everything but she felt like they didn’t want her to know things.
The queen walked closer to him and
whispered something in his ears as she was smiling. Justin’s face changed from
emotionless to something Alex couldn’t comprehend. But then he smirked and said
“whatever Mertha. You’re doing this
alone. Bye. I’m out”
And then he walked to the door where
Alex was standing and soon Alex rushed out to find another room and act like
she was innocent. Soon Alex was standing in a room she quickly found and
pretending like she was staring the outside from the window and hoping that
Justin wouldn’t see her there. Well, to her worry, she could feel the presence
of Justin and she started to wonder if he knew she was listening. Soon Justin
was standing right behind Alex and whispered in her ears,
“Since when exactly was that you’re
listening to our convo?”
Alex froze.
