Jack, the Giant Slayer ( narrative text by me :P )

lil note : just chillin in my room and then smth popped up in my mind to write a narrative text and here it is.. but anyway the narrative text is called "Jack, the Giant Slayer" n just like that, it is inspired by a western movie with the same title as the text, Jack, the Giant Slayer :D

 JACK, THE GIANT SLAYER

Once upon a time, there was this ordinary young man called Jack, who had no idea about what he was capable of, who had not much money to burn, living in a land ruled by a grown up man, King Pearl, with his grandpa. The king had an only child, Princess Caitlin, who never stepped her foot out of the palace for her dad never allowed her to.

All the people in the land lived peacefully there but not until the words about the existence of giants were heard all over the land. Giants did exist ever since so many years ago and some of them still existed while the major part of them were killed by no one but the great parents of Jack back then. Jack’s parents had this knowledge of creating a plant that was able to kill giants. They had not even had a chance to spread their knowledge because of getting killed by a group of giants instead.

Apparently, the giants were too quick that the king had not even made a move but they had already gotten his daughter with them in the wildest wood in the land. They apparently had planned this for years for they wanted to have their revenge towards the land. The giants then sent a letter to the king that the princess would soon die if all his people were not willing to become the giants’ servants. The king got so frustrated over this. He then decided to just tell his people about the letter. Hearing about the letter, Jack got something inside of him telling himself that he could do something about it but his grandpa forbade him. He tried to listen to his grandpa for good but he kept thinking about the letter and the princess all night long that he could not sleep a wink that night. He then decided to ignore his grandpa’s words and listen to his heart instead for once.

It was so late at night and he went to the wild wood and tried to find the giants and the princess. When he found the place, he found how the princess was hugging herself and sobbing. And that was when he thought of ways to finish off the giants. He could not bear it seeing the beautiful princess became miserable. And then he got something popped up in his mind that no one called this wood wild for nothing. There was an incredibly high and dangerous ravine around this wild wood. He wasted no time, he then caught all the giants’ attention to him by getting closer to the princess. He promised her he would save her. The giants laughed out loud hearing that, it was impossible for a little boy to kill them and save the princess, but that was just the thoughts of the giants. However, the princess could see something through Jack’s eyes that he could do it. The giants were too lost in their laughter that it made Jack could let go of the ropes that roped the princess. But the princess remained still as she was told. Jack told her to pretend as if she was still being roped.

He then made all the giants follow him in seconds. They kept on laughing at Jack and that only made it easier for Jack to trap them all. And then the minute they all got to the ravine, the giants fell down into that but apparently Jack was hit a bit by a giant that it made him slip to the ravine but to his luck, the Princess got his hand and tried to save him from falling but she was not strong enough to do that, he then asked her to just let go of him because what mattered was her not him but she could not do that. To their luck, the king, Jack’s grandpa and a group of guards found them soon. The king and Jack’s grandpa were so relieved knowing that the most important person in their life was safe and also the fact that all the giants were all dead. And for Jack’s grandpa, he was so proud of Jack that he could finish off the giants without the help of a plant but the help of his own brain. The land came back to the peaceful life again and to add to the happy ending list was the wedding of the princess and the ordinary boy which was happened after the long night.
